Pataskala, OH, is a small town located in Licking County, Ohio. The population was 11,949 at the 2010 census. Pataskala is a suburb of Columbus, the state capital of Ohio. Pataskala was founded in 1815 by Revolutionary War veteran Nathaniel Patridge and his wife, Rebecca. Patridge purchased 400 acres (160 ha) of land from the United States government for $400.
